Flux

Bij de serie Flux plaatste Uilenbroek een tweetal irisdrukken over elkaar. De eerste is een kleurverloop en de tweede is een transparant kader die verloopt in zwart of wit. Door de kleurverlopen krijgt het werk een trance-achtige werking waarin het kader functioneert als een portaal.

In the Flux series, Uilenbroek placed two iris prints on top of each other. The first is a color gradient and the second is a transparent frame that fades into black or white. The color gradients give the work a trance-like effect in which the frame functions as a portal.
